Kittson Healthcare, a rural hospital located in Northern Minnesota, has been keeping their community healthy for nearly 100 years. However, they couldn’t understand why people would drive longer distances to receive care at other hospitals when they could provide the same services. They eventually realized there was a breakdown in communication with their patients. Word of mouth would no longer cut it. They needed an intelligent marketing strategy but also the right vehicle to deliver their message.

Colour Outside partnered with Kittson Healthcare to bring them a new brand identity, a custom website tailored to their specific audience, and a comprehensive marketing plan to help them achieve their community outreach and fundraising goals.

Attracting new staff with a new brand.

Kittson Healthcare’s brand and website were outdated and didn’t reflect the hospital’s warm, professional reputation. Colour Outside overhauled their existing brand — from logo to colors to photography style — and, together, we created an identity that not only looked more modern but would perform well on mobile devices.

With updated visuals and tailored messaging to prospective nurses and doctors, we fulfilled Kittson’s secondary goal of attracting additional staff with a dedicated Careers section on their website.
